Ogden special - utsaefisherman - 04-23-2006 Can someone please tell me what an Ogden special is and possibally where i can get some. I asked once but accidently erased the message I got. [signature] Re: [utsaefisherman] Ogden special - katghoti - 04-24-2006 I have seen two "Ogden River" specials. One was a black serendipity but instead of deer hair it was a tuft of grey dubbing. I have used this on the S. fork and it did okay. Other other was an olive and red body serendipity with the hair wing. Mix olive and red antron or z-lon (more olive than red) and mix them together. Twist to form a small rope, wrap 2/3 up, put on the hair wing, tie the head and whip finish. Trim the hair wing. These work good as well. Katghoti [signature] |
