The intentions were there to really catch a bucket of perch. However, the weather and sloppy ice kept me from venturing out. I saw noone on Crooked Lake both times I went to the 131 landing site, and heard of only a couple of fishermen venturing onto Maple Bay (Burt Lake.) Too much snow and not enough blowing around to get a good, comfortable base for me anyway. Maybe between the holidays things will temper.[crazy]
