Ririe Reservoir - bsflies - 12-16-2005
Ririe Res has capped over and is now frozen!!!!!! I would not judge it as safe ice yet, but I did chuck a large rock on the ice and it just bounced. There are major cracks in the ice right by the boat ramp so it probably is not stable, but should be in a week. I am looking forward to it.

On the way back from a wrestling tournament on Saturday, I stopped by Ririe and there were two ice fishermen on the lake out beyond the island near the boat ramp. I am planning a trip over there on Thursday as I will be out of school for the holidays. I will keep you posted from time to time during the holidays.

I will be fishing Ririe Res on Thursday - hopefully the ice is still building there. I will report before I take off for Utah for five days for Christmas with my grandchildren
