the berry - ironworker - 10-24-2005
finally got to take the toon to the berry.
got a real late start. hit the water at 10. caught first fish at 10:20
i only landed 3 cutts and missed 3 times that many.
all released to get bigger. all were in the slot.
meet fishcrazy and aquaman at chicken creek east as i was about to leave.
the trolling motor makes life great.
caught all the fish on white tube jigs tipped with crawler.
i need to practice with my camera some more.

]What size jig head (weight and hook size) are you using. Also, what length tube?We trolled using 1/8 oz jigs with a two inch grub. Caught some, but wondering if should have gone bigger.

i was using 1/4 ounce weight jig and i think hook size was an 4 or 6
tube length was the 3 1/2 inchers.
