hey guy and gals im new ive bend fishing for about a year on an off . so far ive been fishing at belmont peir . i was just wondering if theirs any tips u guys have about this place.

Welcome aboard. I have fished that pier many times.
Always take along a mussel cup and some squid. Most of your Barred Surf Perch will dig on the Mussel as well as a few pesky jack smelts.
The squid works best on the bottom if you would like to play with Sharks and Rays.[cool]

I forgot to mention as well. That pier is a fish for fun pier. You wouldn't want to eat any of the species that come out of that water area.
The Perch and other small species will hit best in the daylight hours. The earlier the better.
Night time is for the Sharks and Rays.[cool]
