O.k. folks, what would be the reccomended lightest set up still siutable for Big Tarpon excluding fly fishing them?

The Lightest I would go for big poons is a penn 5500 wit 20 lb test and a 40 lb leader on a all-star 6 ft rod. Ive hooked Tarpon on my lil Finor like in Addictive fidhing and on land I didnt stand a chance. Danny C
