Crooked Lake in Coon Rapids - DrownedDesertRat - 06-07-2005 I was out a couple days this past week. What a slow catch! My first catch was actually totally unexpected. I had a set my rod down, my lure was just a few inches under water, and wham! Nice little bass. So I tried it again. And here's what I caught: Measured 18 inches. The bass are biting. So are the walleye during a window that's lasting from about 8:30pm to about 9:15pm. All my fishing has been from the shore and fishing dock. If anybody is heading out there, let me know when so we can meet up! I've got a couple extra BigFish Hook Safe's and I wouldn't mind passing them on. What is a "Hook Safe"? Check them out here: [url http://www.bigfishtackle.com/hooksafe2.htm] [/url][signature] Re: [DrownedDesertRat] Crooked Lake in Coon Rapids - davetclown - 06-22-2005 would you look at the size of that minnow!!! nice hog, were you using that charlie swimbait again? boy am I falling behind on my fishing.... I'm going to use Charlie a lot more the next couple of weeks. Going after them small 5 lb bass that we have here in MN and a few tiny 10 lb pike. [signature] |
