Opinions of Cuda 168EX Fish Finder - VITUBER - 04-01-2005 It looks like I will be getting the Cuda 168EX, can anyone give me impressions or experience with this one. It is very similiar to the 168 but a bit larger screen. I intend to hook this up to my Bighorn. Any Thoughts Thanks [signature] Re: [VITUBER] Opinions of Cuda 168EX Fish Finder - VITUBER - 04-01-2005 I also have thoughts on the Cuda128 Portable, I like the idea of the option of usind AA batteries but not sure about the portable tansducer. Otherwise, I have been more than happy with my choice.[/#0000ff] [#0000ff][/#0000ff] [#0000ff]My personal feeling is that you will get better performance and a longer trip by using a 12 volt gel cell. Also, unless you get rechargeable bitty batteries, you will spend a fortune on replacements. Even then, by the time you buy a full set of NiMH batteries, you might as well get the SLA.[/#0000ff] [#0000ff][/#0000ff] [#0000ff]Still, as with all things, there are options and there are opinions. I have given mine.[/#0000ff] [signature] Re: [TubeDude] Opinions of Cuda 168EX Fish Finder - VITUBER - 04-01-2005 Thanks I appreciate the advice, I will have to wait and see. I do see advantage to the EX with the wider screen. Would love other opinions [signature] |
