Lake Wilson Ice fishing - maddjack - 12-16-2000 Ice fished Wilson this afternoon at Catfish Point, The ice there was almost 4 inches with about 1 inch of snow on it. With the next few cold nights unless we get more snow the ice there should continue to thicken. Caught several small stripers 3 to 5 lbs and one 9 lber. good fun on lite tackle. Talked to a fellow who fished the gravel hill, horseshoe bend area this morning and caught his limit of small stripers, white bass and a couple of walleye. Wilson had ice all the way to Minooka point, looks like the season is beginning.

|
