Cod Tongues and Sounds - tubeN2 - 02-11-2005 1 lb Cod s and sounds; "pickled" or heavily salted Cream sauce or melted butter Soak overnight cod s and sounds which have been "pickled" in heavy salt. Change water several times. After salt has been washed out put s and sounds in kettle to boil about 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from water and serve with cream sauce or melted butter. Excellent if you can get them!
