Whooo hoooo.
I managed to get on my lake for an hour last night. I managed to cut through 4 inches of ice.
I even managed to pull up half dozen crappie and a gill....
to bad tomarow my lake will be back to slush....[pirate]

I central MN we're around 15-18". been out 3 times for Eyes and got notta. gonna try again tonight.[

Well I went back out to my hole today, a bit late, one of my buddies got to it before I did.
and wouldnt ya know he pulled up two bass, a 16 and a 20 inch.
the lake was like a big giant super slushy.
we had rain over night and it is 50 now and will be 57* so all day and sunny, so I guess I wont be going back out today. and from the looks of it I wont be going back out any time soon, and no freezing temps to be seen for a week to come.
Oh well at least I got out for a couple days.

Freezing temps? What are those? Oh yeah, we get those once in a while here. Not yesterday though! 51° and raining. Quite unusual for us. I know you're itching to get out on the ice. Hope you get some good ice soon!
