Berry bragging report . - Hellsangler69 - 12-20-2004
I hit the ice right before sunrise and caught some fish . No trophys but some nice cutts . No rainbows were had by this angler . Hope I didn't give anything away . LOL I got pics coming soon .

The Berry has ice but not all of it . From the Knolls to Mud creek to Haws looked to be open . Most ice is new and very thin still . Small bays are thicker ice . I was punching holes in 10 to 12" of ice in Jakes . Meet coldfooter there . Not many people ice fishing maybe 20 all day ( just the way I like it ) . Here is some pics of the ice .

I am not done yet .
I believe I lost more at the hole then landed but it is all good in the hood . Caught 20 cutts . Used 3" tubes first thing in the morning and nailed about 6 on it but the last one broke me off on 8# test . Story of my life . Rat finkees worked great . Coldfooter told me to try some minnows and I slayed them on them . Run out of minnows to quick for sure . Used circle hooks and all released to fight another day .

Was the fishing steady or was it good in the early moring or what? A little more info would be appreciated.
Where planning an outing with Bugln4Bulls at strawberry this Friday if you do not have to work and want to go let me know.

You might be pushing it a little but here it is . I only give this out to a certain few , so everyone else just close your eyes . It was hit and miss in the morning , but around nine o clock it got hot for about a hour . then it was feast city again at 2:00pm till I run out of minnows . I would move to a new hole and get a bite and them nothing most of the day , so I think they are cruising around a lot . Seen them moving in and then there gone . I do have a honey hole on my gps now . Friday might be a go . I just need to find out if I am working .
