Did anyone see the picture of a huge ice fishing get together in the Dec/Jan issue of Field and Stream?! Dang there's no way I'd get out on the ice with that many thousands of people all drilling holes in the ice all over close to each other like that! Scary!

It looked like a city out on the ice. It would be interesting to see what the underwater scene would look like with all those jigs and rigs dangling down..

Can you imagine all the confusion finding your hole and then waiting in line to have your fish scored. With that said I think it looks like a lot of fun. Meet new people and see about every way known to man to fish. Someone should have that fishing equipment you have been wanting to see.

I herd that at one of those huge ice fishing contests they had to cancel it because there were so many people and gear out on the ice that it started to sink and water started coming out of all of the holes, so they ran everyone off before the "city" went to the bottom Atlantis style.
