Just spent a week of social involvement where I wasn't supposed to fish, in Mammoth, but I did sneak out to Mamie Lake, and Lake George. With the correct bait the trout bite was wide open on both lakes.... if you could find a place to fish. I never saw so many people crowded around the area. Last Thurs and Friday they planted all the local lakes and streams. It was great fishing.
