A major fish kill occurred in Seminole County's Lake Jessup, where a live powerline transformer fell into the lake. Although biologists believe that accident likely electrocuted thousands of fish, even more were killed by oxygen depletion, as Charley mixed oxygen-poor waters at the bottom of the lake with surface layers, creating fatally low levels throughout the lake.[/size][/#000000][/font]
