Barracuda and Bass Fishing Still Hot - JapanRon - 07-21-2004
Hey there guys,
The bass and barracuda fishing is still very hot from Horseshoe Kelp down to the SD/Mexican border. Channel island landings are gettin' their licks in too.
Fished the 'shoe' today for limits of barries to 8lbs! Although I targeted them, no calicos! Sand bass were also happy to bite but they sure didn't care for any plastic. Luckly, we had sardines, anchovies and people did catch some on iron too.
At the shoe I counted 11 sporties anchored from our position! At the flats ....... there were 8 boats. sheesh! That's not counting the PBers! ha ha ha
