It's another reason to help keep the water clean. ----------------- When a man in South Louisiana saw a ball bouncing around strangely in the pond next door, he went to investigate and found it was flathead catfish with a child's basketball stuck in its mouth. The pictures tell the rest of the story. His wife had to cut the ball in order to deflate it and release the catfish. No joke I caught a can full of catfish. To the point it was a 1960's modle Papts Blue Ribbon beer can I caught through the pull tab hole brought it up and threw it on the floor and got back to fishing when I noticed something splashing around inside. I broke the rusted can open and found a 6 inch blue catfish living in side the can. there was no hope of his ever getting free untill I come across him. he had deffanatly been there a long long time cause he had out grown the hole big time.... Could you emagine just how long he had been in the can? these fish live to be 60-100 years old. I'm pretty skeptical by nature as well but I think It's legit. Although people do some pretty strange stuff I can't imagine someone dreaming this one up after catching a fish like that!
