I fished Deer Creek on 5/1/04 and caught 6 slimers <trout> and 1 carp
trolled stickbaits at 18' with a downrigger just west of rainbow bay..

Welcome bassleg. I remember fishing Deer Creek years ago. We used to use mini marshmellows to catch the trout there. I also used to catch lots of perch. Do they still have many there???

Yes there is some big perch in deer creek I have caught them up to 13" and
just under 1 1/2 lbs and they taste alot better than trout...........

That's for sure on the taste. We used to catch them at the mouth of the dam right off of the rocks. They put up a better fisht then the bows ever thought of doing.[cool]
