Lonehunter, Davetclown all others:
May 28,29,30, 2004 the 2nd Annual Walleye Jamboree on the South and Big Manistique Lakes in Curtis, Mi will be held by the Portage Anglers Club of Curtis.
Grand prize=$500
1st, 2nd, 3rd places will be 30% payback from entry fees. In addition, there will be daily prizes for heaviest pike, walleyes and perch. Awards dinner Sunday at the Interlaken Lodge with a steak dinner free to contestants. Entry fee is $30.00. Registration sites will be available at local businesses in the area.

Curtis is approx. one hour west of St. Ignace off of Highway 2, then North on H33 7 miles.
The fishing is good, the food is grand and the suds are quenching-I'm there!

i'm not sure if i'll be able to attend , i thought i was going to have this weekend off and i was informed just before i clocked out that i will be working the weekend shift .
so much for bassass and i getting in some lake time .
that bit about the suds sure is making me think about a vacation day or two for the event [

I know for a fact I cant attend, bills have me strapped in my driveway.
sounds like a great way to spend mamorial week end...
I am hoping to get out to one event to compete in this year, We'll see what happens. never know I could hit the lottery. it could happen....
