Worm Dunk'n at the Gorge - Fishry - 04-10-2004
Left the boat home and hit the Gorge today to shorefish in the snow. I started at Anvil, with no luck, and kept moving south. I finally found some fish around Sheep Creek. I ended up catching 5 fish. The largest was just over 21". I used a worm and a marshmellow with a slip sinker. All the fish I caught were males, I wonder why. Anyone know when the kokanees will start hitting?

That's a nice fish. Thanks for the report. I hope to be catching fish up there one week from today.
I've had times after ice-out at Strawberry when all I caught were males also. I don't know why either.
