My first largemouth - TIBBZZ - 04-07-2004
Went to fitz park tues. I was trying out those new Berkly Gulp samples we got for free from our advertisers board[cool], anyway I caught 3 white bass in about 5 minutes then the bite slowed down kept fishing and jigging this worm under the overhung shore line and WAM! got a fish I could see the fish when I was reeling it in and at first I thought (by the color ) that is was a huge bluegill but nope it was a 9" largemouth bass[shocked]. I have know idea what it was doing there and if anyone had told me before yesterday that they had caught a LMB out of there I would have thought they were lying or had mistaken some other kind of fish for a LMB. What strange fishing this spring, consistant walleye action out of the Jordan and my first LMB out of a place I would have thought to be the last place in the world that I would find a LMB.

It is a park in S.L.C. on about 3000S. and 500E.
