Newton 6/21 - Panchodog - 06-23-2025 Got on Newton with a couple of the kids. I'm a fly guy. Tried a bunch of clousers and other streamers. Nada. Poppers and frogs were the ticket. ![]() Got a few like this and lost a couple nice ones in the weeds. Couldn't horse them out with the 6 wt. ![]() ![]() Couple dozen of these little guys. Fun morning! RE: Newton 6/21 - Cowboypirate - 06-23-2025 I really love Newton, but have not made it up this year. I bet a musky on the fly rod would be exciting RE: Newton 6/21 - wiperhunter2 - 06-23-2025 Nice to read a report about Newton, we don't get many from that lake. Did you try for any crappie or were you there just for the bass? I don't think I'm equipped to handle a big mad musky. (06-23-2025, 11:34 PM)wiperhunter2 Wrote: Nice to read a report about Newton, we don't get many from that lake.
