My current trolling is 24v. I've got 2 12v lead acid batteries running it. I could witch to 1 24v lithium correct? What would be better the 50ah or the 100ah???

Depending on your motor I’m assuming it’s 80 lb or more thrust since 24 volt. I would think you would want 100 ah to give you many hour of use. 50 ah you
Might run short depending on how long and what power.
One other note if you are using brush style motor, it’s recommended to not run above power 8 for any extended period of time with lithium batteries. It can burn up the motor . New brushless motors it’s not an issue .
Here is an amp draw chart that is approximate it will give you idea of amp usage

I can second the Eco worthy. I purchased one two years ago and have been very happy so far. I use it on my Sea Eagle pontoon boat when I don't use my bass boat and love the performance and especially the weight. I'm thinking of buying another one to put in my bass boat to run the trolling motor.

We are looking at Amped Lithium Batteries. So many battery companies...I would say research it for yourself before buying. No affiliation here. Battle born and Abyss batteries look good also.

Dumb question. How do you tell f your motor is brushless or not??

Ghost is Lowrance brushless motors. . Minnkota new brushless are Quest series.
