Hey Robert..No fun, for sure..as I told TubeDude also, now it's been 31/2 years for me...Time will heal somewhat, but not really..Fishing, hunting, gardening certainly helps me, so never stop fishing as long as you're able, and anything else you used to do that brought some joy..it'll come back..slowly..Way different without our favorite, consistent, loving companion..Not a good club to be in, and I wish you well and good fishing..

Sorry for your loss. As a health care provider, I've witnessed all too many pass away from Alzheimers and how hard that disease process is on patients and their loved ones. I'm sure she'll be figuring out the bite up there in heaven waiting for you to join her. Thoughts & prayers.

My sincerest condolences to you and your family. Alzheimer's is a cruel disease. There is hardly anything you can do to help them. You have to stand and just watch them get worse and worse and there is nothing you can do to try and help them. They even get to a point that they don't even know who you are. My mother passed from Alzheimer's, and it was hard to watch her go. When I would visit her, she thought I was her twin brother and not her son. So sorry for your loss Robert. Just remember all the great years and fishing trips you had together. I'm sure she wants you to keep fishing and remember the great fishing trips you had together. Deep sympathy for you.

My wife of 60 years has COPD and I have been her caregiver for a number of years now and it breaks my heart to know what is coming.
