Jaw jacker repair? - Humbadingo - 04-18-2025

I have a couple of jaw jackers that have broke in the same spot. I have had this same issue in the past but, just threw them away when it happened. But, with the price of these things I'm going to come up with a repair/reinforcement solution. I'm curious if others are having the same issue or would be interested in a repair kit? I would only charge what it cost to make them and I'm thinking it would be around ~$5.00 Per kit. Please chim in and let me know if you're interested. Also I'm curious if ya'll are having other issues with the Jackers?

I had the same problem. Epoxied a piece of aluminum with a couple of holes drilled into it at the two higher positions.. I never use the lower one. Its worked for a couple of years thus far.

That's similar to what I was going to try. But I was going try 16 gauge sheet metal.

I have one I call the FrankenJacker. It broke in the middle and I patched with some aluminum strips and bolts. Worked fine until it broke in a different spot where a patch will affect stowing the legs. Still thinking about how to repair. I have two other units so haven’t been in a hurry.

I have an auto jigging Jawjacker and the motor or switch went out. A replacement motor and switch from Jawjacker was very. Turns out the original motor was okay so I have a spare. BTW, Matt at Jawjacker is very helpful if you have questions, etc.

My SIL built his own JJ with a 3-D printer and that may be an option for parts?
