But I don't plan on EVER launching the boat and using the remote to deploy, hold, and bring the boat to the dock unless there is a live adult in the boat that is knowledgeable on starting and operating the boat with the drive motor. ![]() RE: YES! - Bduck - 04-10-2025 (04-09-2025, 09:27 PM)dubob Wrote:Bob, I've been kicking around the idea of getting a bow mount lately and been looking at the Ulterra Quest. Add 24" and you'll be close to what you'll want to get. For your boat, I'm guessing you'll need a 72" shaft. That's the longest they come with. Just curious, why no kicker? I’m new to boat ownership and don’t use mine much. RE: YES! - dubob - 04-15-2025 (04-14-2025, 10:00 PM)Troutster Wrote: Can’t wait for the REAL photos. If it appears that I need the gas motor for anything while fishing and I can't get it to go slow enough, I'll add a trolling plate on the 115 hp Merc. They do a great job of slowing down the boat at idle. RE: YES! - TubeDude - 04-15-2025 Lookin' good. Hope the first meeting of the bionic angler and the AI boat is a memorable one...but only for all the good reasons. Oh yeah, I also hope that new ride doesn't leave YOU on the ramp. |
