I get a lot on line. Certainly hooks, The Fly Shop has a pretty good selection of materials.

It is expensive everywhere. I have bought online, ebay, garage sales and yes retail locally. Got some good buys on ebay. I have never checked Facebook marketplace. I should as I have got good buys on other items that way

I use Fly Shop online primarily. Our Sportsmans Warehouse here in STG is a joke and never has anything.

I buy from FlyFish Food online and in their Orem store. Huge selection and a Utah based and owned shop. Worth the few extra pennies I might have to spend.
