Hyrum Perch - packfish - 06-17-2022 Just checking to see if anyone has caught a perch in Hyrum. I have not seen or heard of anyone catching a perch. Caught some bass and they were good sized but not a perch. I have seen a dead 4" one floating in the back bay. I see lots of schools of fry, though I haven't looked at one closely to see what they were. RE: Hyrum Perch - SkunkedAgain - 06-21-2022 I haven't been over since the ice was on, but I heard the trout were decent size this spring, is that true? later J RE: Hyrum Perch - packfish - 06-22-2022 (06-21-2022, 01:42 PM)SkunkedAgain Wrote: I haven't been over since the ice was on, but I heard the trout were decent size this spring, is that true? later J There have been some decent trout caught but nothing like a few years ago, RE: Hyrum Perch - SkunkedAgain - 06-22-2022 Thanks for the update... They seemed to cutback on the bows they were planting, so they don't seem to get as big lately.. Ice bows have almost disappeared for me lately, but then again I'm fishing for perch so that might be part of the reason why.. Later J |
