Is Big Elk Creek frozen? - kentd71 - 12-07-2020
My son wanted to go to Pali
es Big Elk Creek But I am not sure I t’s frozen or not Yet. I’ve never fished on the stream side of the road but would be willing if that’s the only thing that’s frozen up there. Any tips for up there would be greatly appreciated. Haven’t had a whole lot of luck up there.

They are catching on the stream side. You would do best to stay on that side. I lost a good friend years ago who fished the other side. It can be a treacherous journey this early.
