FISHED THE 10' DEEP FLATS ON THE NORTH END FOR A COUPLE HOURS THIS AFTERNOON , WENT THRU A DOSEN MINNOWS AND CHUBS IN NO TIME AT ALL , WOULD SUGEST STINGER HOOK PRESENTATION , FAST HITS !
ALL PIKE WERE UNDERSIZED .

this is how the dam looks after the water has receded 5' . i could tell by the debris line along the bank . normally there is just a trickle of water over the top and you can stand on the rocks below . still have a good foot or two to go to bring it back down to it's normal level .further downriver , a new condiminium under construction is flooded and a bridge is washed away .
i gave the fishing a try here , had a muskey just miss my lure , figured he musta been between 30 to 40 lbs. just the white patch of belly was a foot across , pretty big fish !
