The forgotten Beetle Spin - SenkoSam - 07-09-2019 You know how you all of a sudden decide to fish a lure you haven't used for years and have no clue why? Well, last year I decided to try the Beetle Spin one day and found it does catch fish! In fact I tried it again yesterday , but this time I tried a Crappie Magnet grub as the lure under the blade and caught sunnies and crappie. These curl tail grubs also worked: ....along with this hybrid grub: and my minnow grub creation: This was the original lure: I would have thought that the stiff wire harness would detract fish from biting. Guess not seeing as how the lure has caught over 30 panfish. [signature]
