Hey just thought I'd throw out the reminder about this weekends spring flotilla... Where: Utah Lake, Lincoln Beach, see the sticky up top of page for details or contact me if you can't find it...
When: Saturday morning with a get together after
Why: Because you like to meet other BFT'ers and tell fish stories..

It looks like it will be sunny with a 72° high and light wind. Ought to be a perfect day. Plus it will be four days after this current storm which should make for good fishing.
We're gathering a number of prizes and we will have something for everyone. I'm not sure if I announced this but Lynn (Boatloadakids) is sponsoring a big-fish-of-the-day prize. This will be on-your-honor scoring but if anyone gets a really big one they'll want to take a picture and enter it in the contest. If you haven't signed up yet, it's pretty painless.
Remember to bring enough of your potluck food items to feed your own group as if that was all they had to eat. Then we'll all have plenty.
Feel free to attend even if you haven't signed up. I know that things happen at the last minute sometimes and you are all welcome. If you were waiting for a good weather forecast you should feel good about it now.

Hi Craig, I appreciate your last paragraph. This is not a venue that I am familiar with even though I grew up and still live in Utah county. I have almost always been a trout, High mountain lake fisherman, turned kokanee fisherman in recent years. However I do like the folks I have met on BFT and your invite even if I haven't signed up has made me want to attend.
I have a boat and a spot for 1, however I am pretty inexperienced in fishing for UL species. Armed with TD's section on UL, I am ready to give it a try. More so, it sounds fun to interact with other BFT members. So sign me up. Also though it will be beginners luck if I catch a cat how do I sign up for the southern contest.
What can I bring for the get-together?
