Tiger Muskie Tagging - k2muskie - 04-26-2019
I would like to take a moment to remind you about the aging and growth study at Pineview. Mountain West Muskie will once again be assisting the UDWR. The study is entering its 3rd year and currently there are 202 tagged tigers swimming in PV right now.
Tags from 2017 are yellow, 2018 are green, and 2019 will be blue. (See pictures)
If you catch a tagged tiger, you can either call the phone number on the tag, post it here, or message me directly. Please report the tag number, the color of the tag, and the length of the fish. Please do NOT remove the tag. If you post here or message me, I will tell you the last time the fish was caught and how long it was, and the gender, if possible.
If you find a dead tiger while on the water, please check if it has a tag. If so, please remove the tag and report the fish so I can remove it from the study.

This past summer my dad and I were fishing the easternmost side of the middle fork of Pineview, and we found a dead muskie on the shore. I called the DWR, and took the tag as they told me to. I can't remember if I reported the number, but here it is anyway.
I'm not sure what numbers I'm suppose to give you, so I'll give you everything except the phone number on there.
The tag is green.
