Got my son a fly rod for his 21st birthday 7 years ago. He is a die hard fly guy. Have no idea what he was using and didn’t ask. He slayed the gills. By the picture he shared nice looking gill. He also did well on rainbows and bass.

That’s great to hear that the bluegill and bass action is starting to pick up at Mantua. Been thinking of going there for bass this week but have feared the colder spring would’ve kept them stagnant for awhile. Thanks for the report!

I was there Friday and had no luck with bass. Caught a couple of trout though.
