Charleston Open Water - klam - 01-17-2019 I was hoping to find some fishable ice at Charleston today. Lots of open water. I'm wondering if it will freeze this season. There was a beautiful golden eagle fishing or it may have been coot hunting. Re: [klam] Charleston Open Water - wiperhunter2 - 01-19-2019 It's always nice to see wildlife while outdoors. Most of the time if you wade out to the ice sheet it is thick enough to fish on. A week and a half ago when I drilled a couple hole up there it was over 4" and that was before it had froze over down by the island yet. [signature] |
