Deer Creek Soft and Hard water - klam - 01-17-2019
Went to Deer Cr to check conditions and found you could launch a boat at the main ramp. There is even a dock in the water. Wallsburg arm is open water.
There were a couple of groups about halfway across the lake at the island. You have to be careful where you choose to access the ice.
You would be cold either way but Deer Cr gives you a choice of boat or sled.

I fished by the island today. I was finding 3-4 inches of clear ice under 2-3 inches of white ice. Caught a few nice perch, a planter rainbow, and a decent brown.
