Hello all,
I didn't fish as much this summer as I would have liked, but I did head up to Alexander a few nights. The main goal was to try some new methods I have read about to catch channels. Not a single one of the new methods worked
ly. Rather than waste everyones time telling you what didn't work...I was hoping some of you that fish lakes and reservoirs could help myself and others out with some catfishing tips. I still had good luck when I fished up on the river using crawlers and dip / punch baits. I'm looiking more for stillwater methods that produce results from either bank or boat / canoe. Thanks in advance.

Catfishing in Alexander can be slow 90% of what you catch is around 6 to 10 inches 5% 10 to 12 inches the other 5% over 12 inches. There are not really any in there worth while . but fresh bait works best none of that stink stuff works. The fresher it is the better.
