Sons and I hit electric lake to try for some kokes, No luck , then broke the recoil starter on my kicker motor so we nursed are way in with the big motor which was not running well.
We then went to huntington north and jigged for wipers with no luck , so we nurced the boat back in again
Hit Scofield on the way home. Fished from west shore walk in access area , used full bubble with pistol petes, and jakes lures. Caught 70 + fish in 3 hrs with about a 50/50 ratio of chubs and 10 to 14" cutthroats.
Even with the boat troubles it was still way better than working on my honey-do list

Hey, thanks for the great report. I've been concentrating on learning to catch catfish so much I almost forgot we have great trout fishing, too. Gonna have to get out there. Thanks for the tips on lures.
