New Caste Wipers - Doubletreble22 - 05-20-2018
Hi
So I am new at fishing for wipers and all I know is that anchovies seem to be one of the better choices for bait right now at new castle reservoir. I know everyone has secrets they don't want to share but I don't fish with cut bait often and was wondering how would I go about it? Do I use weights? A bobber? How long should the leader be between bobber(or weights) and the hook? What kind of hooks should I use? Never rigged for a wiper before. Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

Do you live in southern utah and when are you trying to go fishing at Newcastle?
Are you fishing from shore, flotation, or boat?

Yeah I currently live in Cedar City. I have a boat, but I am getting some things fixed on it so right now I am just fishing from shore. Typically I try to be out early in the mornings and later in the evenings
