Howdy folks! Just want to introduce myself...I'm the Pastor of a small church beside the Ohio river...I love all types of fishing but my favorite is catfishing...I can't wait to get to know some of you and learn all that I can from this great site...Happy fishing!

My personal best flathead is 45lbs and my biggest blue is 41lbs...Sure hope to improve both of those this year.

Wow, those are some impressive cats, wish we had cats that big here. I read on another post you made that you like to use shad for bait, it there a certain type of shad that you find works better. We only have Threadfin and Gizzard shad here.

Shad are hard to beat that's for sure...I honestly don't know the difference in the types of shad...I use whichever kind gets in my castnet...lol
