Logan Area - milenine - 03-12-2018
Haven't been on here in ages. Spent a few years doing a lot of parenting and not enough fishing but I am back with a vengeance. Logan and Blacksmith fork river have been great if you can find deep holes. I tried finding the crappie at Cutler last Saturday with no luck. Today, I had a couple of crappie on at Benson, but couldn't land any. If anyone is up this direction and wants to go out hit me up. I'll start going to Hyrum and the pig soon.

Good to have you back on line again, know how that priority thing changes with time... Nice to get to where you can spend a little more time chasing the fish... I'm here in the valley, have a crazy schedule but will try giving you a heads up in case you want to try the same spot as I'm headed... What kind of fishing you doing most? Fly, bait, casting lures? I'd love to go fishing with you. I work on the north end of Logan, so I was planning on hitting Benson and Cutler a bit after work in the next couple months to see if I can figure anything out down there. Last night I went down and could only find a sunfish. I mostly fly fish Blacksmith, Oneida, and Logan, but I am game for any kind of fishing. I've been lucky to catch limits of Kokanee at the pig regularly and have had quite a bit of luck on the wipers at Willard. This year I'll be taking a fly rod to Willard to jig in the rocks and throw streamers at wipers. In the past I've just trolled them. Message me and we can meet up.

Sounds good, I'll give you a message when I'm heading out sometime... I don't do a ton of fly fishing, but have been pulling out the wand a little lately when my numbers are down other wise, it seems to be a more productive method, not to mention it's a lot of fun... Later J
