Does anybody have any info about the ice on Big Elk Creek? I heard the ice was getting soft and didn’t want to go there Saturday and waste my time. Thanks for the help

I’m thinkinking you’ll be fine. There may be a little slush on top but that’s just pali
es. I fished on it 10 days ago and it was completely solid. There was at least 12 to 14 inches of clear ice under 4 inches of frozen crud. Fishing has been surprisingly decent, especially up near the boat launch. Good luck to you.[signature]
