Are there any local lakes (Rockport, east canyon, etc) that would have open water to launch a boat with the warm weather? [fishon]

Deer Creek and Jordanelle both have plenty of open water to boat on.
While I was hunting ducks yesterday I was thinking of trying some jigging for walleye over by the island here soon.

I fished Deer Creek from a boat last Friday the weather and water were beautiful only two other boats on the lake.
We were looking for perch with the sonar found some but couldn't get them to bite
went to trolling flashers and squids and caught a few RB
