Hey Ron, not sure beautiful and carp go together... But I was psyched to catch one, never got a carp through the ice before...
Got a 6.5" Green sunfish the other day, but my stupid camera wouldn't work at the time and didn't want to kill the fish for a half inch that isn't worth anything contest wise... That helped me be ready to take a picture this time so I kept my phone warm so it didn't die on me...

Yeah, I know. But all fish are beautiful in my eyes.
It has been a busy contest so far considering the lack of ice we have. I'm hoping to join in on the fun soon. The temperatures just haven't cooperated very well here in the Uinta Basin.
