Devils Cut - gdn443 - 10-10-2017
Fished this off the Roanoke on Friday and did catch 8 Bass but again only about 2 1/2 lb. Monday the bite was off even though rain moved in and a cloudy day. Caught 2 dinks and called it after 4 hours. [:/] But still very happy I wasn't skunked. 6 boats out today, and all in the area I was in. Guess I found a home to fish in. LOL

Awesome, glad you got into them on Fri. How far of a drive is it to your new home spot?

It's all of 20 mins to this spot. Then another 10 on the water. Guess I've found a new home. I do have a ramp 10 mins from my house but this far up are only one small creek that everyone runs to. I may give it a try Friday for a change.

Well that makes it nice, much easier to make short trips than those long trips. I know I fish more of the lakes closer to home than even those a little farther away. Good luck on Fri.
