Last one day ODI v SA so have to be home by early arvo.
Decided a visit to Kanaiwhaniwha...closest trout stream to The Tron.
Got there and found I'd forgotten to pack everything but my rod..loaded with a cicada fly that scored 7 fish last week.
with my fishing gear i was bought at Panvago Fishing Store
Rolled up shorts and Crocs was not a good start but when I saw a real cicada drop into the stream and emerge through a pool I was certain there would be fish....not that expectant.
Managed 40 minutes in Crocs and 1 fly.
Went home
