Great Baitcast Reel For Beginners? - BassTrap - 07-07-2017 I was looking for a new baitcast reel for my wife and son. I found this one for $19.99. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get a decent baitcast reel for a decent price? Trying to help them to get into Bass Fishing as a family. Here is the one I found! https://basstrapp.com/products/outdoor-baitcasting-bait-crank-cast-reel-rod-fishing-trolling-6-3-1-10-1bb [fishon] [signature] Re: [BassTrap] Great Baitcast Reel For Beginners? - FishGirl71 - 07-10-2017 I would recommend a KastKing Royale Legend. They are around $39 on Amazon, but they are really good reels. The drag is solid and they perform well. They are inexpensive, but they are good quality. I think the big thing is to get something that is decent, so they don't experience a lot of issues and get frustrated. Royale Legend would be my go-to. Just my opinion, of course. There are a lot of good low-end reels out there. But, at the same time, they won't "outgrow" these, if that makes sense, because they are just solid, good reels. I commend you for taking steps to get your family deeper into the fishing world! That is an admirable effort! Good luck! [signature] |
