New to me Pontoon - DayBe4u - 06-19-2017 I would like some help with getting education from you experts. I am an avid ice fisherman and dabble in shore fishing and fly fishing when not out on the ski boat. I picked up a "new to me" 24 foot pontoon. It has an older outboard 120 V4 Johnson motor and an older hummingbird fishing buddy fish finder. So here is the question: 1- What kicker would you suggest? 2- What trolling motor? 3- What fish finder? I would really like some help as I know these are some of the most important pieces as I build from the ground up so to say. I do not have a budget in mind but know I am 4k - 6k or so to get the boat in the shape I would like. Thanks for the help. As far as fish finders go it just depends on how much you want to pay and how fancy you want to get. I went with a Humminbird with side imaging, which are on the expensive end, but I purchased mine used off of eBay so it was more reasonable.
