When you anchor the boat, what chumming technique and chumming "stuff" do you typically use at lake mead to get the stripers to your area?

Ground up sardines, anchovies and corn.
If you double anchor (bow & stern ) you won't swing off your chum pile.
Every 15 minutes throw out some anchovy heads and tails.

Dumb question. Does cream corn work, or just regular corn?
Also, do you guys just chum the surface, or do you drop chum bags down with your bait?

You would think cream corn would be great but it's not.
WHOLE CURNEL corn from a can, not frozen from a bag.
Skip the chum bags. ...chum from the top down to the bottom.
The bigger fish will be closer to the bottom while the smaller fish will swim up to get the chum.

Don't forget you best striper rig...the 1/8 ounce jig head and a chunk of anchovy.
Cut the head and tail off and use the body. Toss the head and tail for chum.
Cast out and free spool or let out 40ft.
Works fron shore too.
