Re: [flygoddess] Carp bait - Jiggety - 01-08-2010 I am here to tell you that there are eyes in that river. I have spent a lot of time there as I live close and fish it often. I have only ever caught 6, but all have been healthy and over 14 inches. When fishing for carp I always just use white bread on a treble. Usually works great. I do have a killer bread fly. Just haven't caught one on it yet. Somebody would have to come bail me out though every time I got arrested for whoopin folks for leavin their beer cans laying around. A game fish paradise in Salt Lake City would be awesome. I have seen them in action and now use them personally. But I can't tell you wich fast food chain fries work better and believe me it does make a difference. Tight Strings/lines :-) [signature] Re: [HATH] Carp bait - Wasatch801 - 01-11-2010 sorry for the late response... I fish it on the bottom with a slip-sinker rig. You have to be careful casting it to make sure it doesn't fly off the hook. It kinda melts away and milks in the water. I used this doughbait a lot when I fished for carp in California's Clear Lake.
